CNN’s Peter Hamby reveals that it has dawned on at least one of Barack Obama’s former aides, that the president isn’t very good at his job.
“I talked to a former Obama White House person, just before Christmas, when Obama was sort of adrift, figuring out what to do, his poll numbers were pretty low,” Hamby said. “And he said, ‘Look, the president needs to find an issue to campaign on. This is what he’s good at. He’s really good at campaigning. Maybe not governing,’ according to this Democrat.”
That Democrat must have been the Deputy Senior Undersecretary for the Bleeding Obvious.
These comments came just before Christmas, at a time when President Obama and some Democrats had already started to try to push Obamacare’s rolling disaster out of the headlines by pushing for a national minimum wage hike. So, message received and acted upon.
