Poll: Majority of Likely Voters Favor Repealing Obamacare

A new Rasmussen poll suggests growing trouble for President Obama’s troubled healthcare law. The poll of likely voters finds that a solid majority of 55% believe that Obamacare is bad for the country and want it repealed. Just 35% believe it will be good for the country.

Since its debut on October 1, Obamacare has been plagued by massive technical problems. Its enactment has also been greeted with millions of insurance cancellations across the nation, despite President Obama’s promise that Americans who like their healthcare can keep it, which he stated some 37 times over the past several years.

A previous Rasmussen poll found that 51% of Americans want the Obamacare individual mandate delayed, and another found that 52% expect the controversial law to make the healthcare system worse rather than better.

Three weeks into Obamacare’s disastrous rollout, Rasmussen found that just 46% of likely voters viewed Obamacare favorably, while 48% viewed it unfavorably. Thirty-seven percent viewed Obamacare “very unfavorably.”
