I haven’t downloaded it. Thanks to Obama’s economy, I can’t afford it.
Aerospace engineer Jeremy Ross, creator of the “Obama Clock,” said he battled political objections and lost sleep while developing the best-selling app, which launched on Aug. 4. It publishes polling data on Obama’s approval ratings alongside the unemployment rate, the cost of gas, the national debt and the housing market — all while ticking off the time remaining until the next presidential inauguration. The “Obama Clock” isn’t free though. Ross said he’s charging 99 cents to prevent people from downgrading it for political reasons. The price doesn’t seem to be a hinderance, as it’s edging out National Geographic’s World Atlas on the iTunes app reference charts, with a average user rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars.
