Forget the headlines. Forget today’s hype. The New York Times just dropped the Big One. Iran is reported by the United Nations to have enough enriched uranium for two nuclear weapons.
Reset everything. Erase everything else from your mind. The prospect of hanging concentrates the mind wonderfully, said Samuel Johnson, but that was assuming normal sanity. Only the insane and permanently self-deluded — read: the liberal media — will miss the big story and go off on incidentals. Forget the Gulf. Forget the “fake out Israel with another ‘peace’ flotilla” story of the day. Forget Obama playing golf.
Iran’s nuclear weapons are here, along with medium-range ballistic missiles. Soon to come: ICBMs that can reach the United States and all of Europe in 2015. They will import them from North Korea, just like they imported their nuclear technology from the A.Q. Khan network, their tunneling and hardening technology from the Norks, and their Scuds from anybody that would sell.
The Sunni Arabs are now looking to get Pakistani nuclear weapons fast, because Iranian nukes are right next door. The Bushehr nuclear reactor is fifty miles from Saudi Arabia, right next to Kuwait, the Gulf States, and Iraq. Iran borders on Afghanistan and even Pakistan. The Shiites have warred against the Sunnis for almost a thousand years. Ayatollah Khomeini himself tried to overthrow the Saudi regime next door, to conquer Mecca and Medina.
This means nuclear breakout in the Middle East. That is why Israel has just announced in public that it is permanently stationing one or more of its nuclear missile subs in the Gulf, within easy range of Tehran.
All the efforts to stop terrorists with nukes have now come to nought. George W. Bush rightly decided to knock over Saddam Hussein, not because the CIA had proof that Saddam had nukes, but because we had enough reason to suspect that he was on the path to them. In fact, Saddam had a warehouse full of yellowcake uranium, as even MSNBC admitted long after screaming George W. Bush out of office.
Tehran is the terror capital of the world, if you go by the definition of terrorism: wilfully killing innocent civilians to achieve political aims. Tehran doesn’t care how many people it kills. Its reigning ideology leaves it to Allah to recognize his own once they are dead. The “Twelver” cult with Ahmadinejad at the head have proclaimed exactly that martyrdom ideology for the last thirty years, ever since the Jimmy Carter administration put out the welcome mat for Khomeini in 1979, because of what the CIA did to Mossadegh in 1953. That wasn’t sane, but then Carter never had much truck with reality.
Terrorism used to be against the Geneva Conventions until the left twisted the them out of shape. Now it’s national policy in Tehran, and what’s Obama gonna do?
Well …. let’s blame Israel! That’s what the United States just did, in collusion with the usual criminocrats at the UN.

We are now back in the frightening days of the Cold War, except that we now have the most delusional administration in American history and the most fanatical enemy since Stalin and Mao. John F. Kennedy recognized the enemy. So did every other president until Jimmy Carter. Then the 1960s radicals took over, and now we have a third-world socialist in the White House.
Are we a great country or what?
The United States has proclaimed its opposition to Iranian nukes for decades. Hillary said it, Bill said it, Obama said it, even Joe the Clown said it. Every holier-than-thou Democrat hollered it up and down when it was politically convenient to do so. But when the United States went to war against Saddam, the left stabbed American troops in the back. The New York Times made out big by leaking national security secrets, month after month, year after year, regardless of who died.
That was genuine treason, folks, and everybody reading this knows it. We have the exact quotes from the radical left to prove it.
Those are the people who are in power today.
The radical left has openly and consistently colluded with Islamofascist reactionaries to bring this day about. This is the Hitler-Stalin pact of our time, except that Hitler and Stalin didn’t have nuclear weapons in 1939. The bitter old French saying was that “the extremes hold hands” (les extremes se touchent). That is what we are seeing today, with Obama being the biggest example. We are seeing a new fascist-leftist axis around the world and in Washington, D.C.. If you doubt it, just watch what the left has to say about Iranian nuclear weapons in the coming days and weeks. Or listen to John Brennan, our anti-terrorism czar, praising jihad in Arabic, less than a decade after 9/11.
In November of 2007, the official National Intelligence Estimate stated: “We judge with high confidence that in fall 2003, Tehran halted its nuclear weapons program.”
Every sane person in the world knew that was a lie. But the Democrats used the official NIE to deceive their millions of ignorant and wishful voters in order to elect an utter rookie with delusions of grandeur. Obama went straight from the Chicago machine to the White House.
Now Obama has sworn “to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
