Chronicling the ongoing intersectional struggle to liberate women — progressively defined to include the legacy kind and the transgenders — from The Patriarchy™, one microaggression at a time.

As I covered in a previous edition of #IAmJaneDoe, Cornell President Michael Kotlikoff released, in early October, what can only be described as something akin to a hostage video in a desperate bid to appease the feral banshees running amok on his campus over a two-year-old rape hoax already investigated and dismissed by the local police because the alleged victim, Lucy Craig, AKA Jane Doe, had clearly consented to the whole thing.

Predictably, this sad performance by a broken man did nothing to produce the intended effect, as he is now on the chopping block.

Cornell faculty, via the university senate, is now subjecting Michael to Cultural Revolution-style struggle sessions ahead of a no-confidence vote in his administration scheduled for late October going into early November, in which faculty members share their collective outrage directed at President Michael while he is forced to pretend, with clasped hands and open ears, that these are serious people who deserve to be listened to.

You’ll note that a recurring theme from these people, who are supposed to be not just functional adults but elite members of society, is that they report feeling “terrified,” “paralyzed by fear,” etc. for merely voicing their totally mundane, conformist opinions shared by literally all of their colleagues.

Lucy Craig's ambulance-chasing lawyer, Thomas P. Giuffra ahead of the vote, probably as a tactic to try to squeeze some more settlement bucks out of the university, dropped a letter purportedly written by his client to, by his own acknowledgment, tip the scales in an attempt to get Michael terminated.

Via The New York Times (emphasis added):

The former student who accused seven men of sexual assault in a lawsuit that has rocked Cornell University wrote in a letter to faculty leaders last week that she felt “unsupported” and “disbelieved” by the school’s president, Michael Kotlikoff.

In a two-page letter to the faculty senate, the former student, known as Jane Doe, said she had wanted to share a “secondhand account” as the senate considers a rare vote of no-confidence in Dr. Kotlikoff’s administration…

Her letter, obtained by The New York Times and authenticated by her lawyer, was dated Oct. 14, 2026, two weeks before the faculty senate is scheduled to begin its vote. The letter shows how the woman, who dropped out of Cornell after the alleged assault, is actively trying to weigh in on the roiling debate around her claims.

“She believed that this was important information that the faculty should know when considering what steps to take” in relation to Dr. Kotlikoff, said Thomas P. Giuffra, her lawyer.
