Flashback: Moderna CEO Admitted in 2019 to Foreknowledge of Coming Pandemic

In an appearance that went woefully under-examined and under-reported, Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel made an appearance on a panel for the World Economic Forum in January of this year, during which he made a stunning admission: he knew a pandemic was coming in 2020 and he accordingly instructed his manufacturing team to churn out a billion doses of “vaccine.”

(PJ Media's Catherine Salgado covered this same event in a different context at the time.)

Here’s what he said (emphasis added):

Moderna had made 100,000 [vaccine] doses in 2019, for the whole year. And I remember walking, after Davos, into the office of my head of manufacturing and I said "how will we make a billion doses next year?", and he looked at me a bit funny and said "what?". I said "yeah, we need to make a billion doses next year, there's going to be a pandemic.

For what’s it worth (not the digital paper it’s written on), the corporate state media, funded by the pharmaceutical industry, ran a “fact-check” to “debunk” the “conspiracy theories” surrounding the on-camera admission that the Moderna CEO predicted a pandemic the following year that he would need one billion doses of vaccine to supply.

Via Associated Press:

Social media users sharing this clip to suggest Bancel was admitting to predicting the pandemic, and preliminarily producing vaccines, ignore the fact that he does not specify what kind of doses he’s discussing when he mentions 2019 production.

Previous interviews with Bancel in which he makes nearly identical remarks also make clear that he’s comparing 2019 doses of any kind of vaccine with the upgraded capacity put into place once the virus began rapidly spreading in early 2020.

This is very weak-sauce stuff that only the most lobotomized NPC liberal readers would accept as a definitive “fact-check.”

To be fair, though, the AP doesn’t have much to work with, given that Bancel admits in no unclear terms that he knew a pandemic was coming and needed a billion doses accordingly.

No CEO worth his salt would order the manufacture of a billion doses, which would wreck the company’s bottom line if they went unsold, without feeling entirely certain that they’re going to fly off of the shelves and into the arms of the global peasantry like hotcakes.

And sell like hotcakes they did indeed — backed by the barrel of a state gun, in many cases, under threat of permanent lockdowns and unemployment and ostracization from society.

Here’s Noam Chomsky demanding the unvaxxed be locked in their homes siege warfare-style until they got injected.

Anyway, nowhere in the “fact-check” does the AP bother to address the relevant quote from Bancel about predicting a pandemic the following year, which is obviously the most salient and most suspicious portion of his answer.

But, again, to be fair to the AP, there’s absolutely no way to spin the Moderna CEO’s comments as innocent. It’s right there on camera in black and white: a pandemic was coming in 2020, Bancel knew in 2019, and he needed a billion vaccine doses to meet the demand that he knew was coming.

The question we need answered — if the GOP House could ever summon the testicular fortitude to subpoena a precious pharmaceutical CEO (i.e., their donor) for questioning under oath — is how Bancel knew a pandemic was coming and who he may have been criminally entangled with.
