Media Corruption, A Lesson From The Movies

With CNN humiliating itself in an attempt to slander Ben Carson and some idiot Gizmodo reporter humiliating himself trying to catch out Ted Cruz, it’s time to take a look at the secret message buried in the finale of the classic 1952 film Singin’ In The Rain.  To understand the subtle metaphor, you have to have the code: Jean Hagen is the news media; Debbie Reynolds is the Democrat party; heroes Gene Kelly, Donald O’Connor and Millard Mitchell are right wing broadcasting and the internet.

I confess the metaphor breaks down a little in that Debbie Reynolds is a pretty little thing. If she’d really wanted to symbolize the Democrats she should’ve looked more like this:

Wasserman-Schultz

But hey, it’s only a movie!
