Fresh anti-Semitic videos coming out of Occupy Wall Street
Urban Infidel, the independent New York blogger who made a splash with her earlier Occupy Wall Street coverage, re-visited Zuccotti Park yesterday and with practically no effort captured on video the kind of conversations going on down there that the mainstream media just won’t show you.
The topic? As usual, Jews and Israel. And it wasn’t pretty:

More disturbing to me than the anti-Semitic conspiracy theories is the complete ignorance of how economics works.
In addition to the “Jews own everything” meme, Urban Infidel also uncovered the “Israel is evil” meme, with one protester praising Palestinian suicide bombers as having the kind of dedication and “righteousness” that the Israelis lack:

For pure ignorance, stupidity and bigotry all rolled into one, this is hard to beat. Another of the 8 zillion examples of how the politically correct dogma of the liberal Left revolves around tired and empty stereotypes of class and race they then project onto other people who don’t have a clue as to what the hell they’re talking about.
It is not only the ignorant who take the antisemitic memes or tropes for reality. The view that “the Jews” control everything is built into all anti-modern, anti-capitalist discourse. But these easy to identify images and notions are not taught in school, by and large. To me, by definition a bigot is ignorant and I don’t think bigots are that well versed in history or generally well read. If they were, they probably wouldn’t be bigots since that type of thought generally emanates from intellectual provincialism.

The Nazis were conservative nationalists supported by the Republican Socialists and Catholic Center Parties of the German parliament… in other words, the right. Their only mainstream opposition was the Democratic Socialists, the left. Hitler is documented as saying, “Liberalism and socialism are evil Jewish creations.” His ability to talk his comrades out of their socialist beliefs is well documented not the least of which by Goebbels himself who was every bit as narcissistic as Hitler and kept meticulous records of his actions and thoughts.
On the American front, the conservative right is synonymous with bigotry as well from the theocratic and fascistic oppression and genocide against the native inhabitants to slavery, women as property, homophobia, xenophobia and religious intolerance. The States Rights Democrats (Southern Democrats, Dixiecrats), contrary to popular historical revisionist belief were not a faction of the modern Democratic Party of progressive liberals. The Dixiecrats were traditionalists (conservatives) and they stormed out of the first Demcoratic National Convention they attended precisely because the ideologies between the two did not mesh. It was with the conservative Dixiecrats that the Ku Klux Klan originates, the Klan is hardcore right-wing conservative as anyone with a brain knows. The Dixiecrats survived as a singular political party until the ending of segregation at which time they dissolved and meshed with… drum roll please… the Republicans.
Right-wing nutjob McCartney’s witch hunts were spurred on by Anti-Sematism under the nationalistic guise of Red Scare Paranoia. This bigotry continues to this day under the guise of Socialist Paranoia. And who are the crazy paranoiacs that espouse this? Oh, why they are all right-wing conservatives! And lets look for a moment at the biggest warthogs at the head of this paranoia… Bill O’Reilly, Anne Coulter, Glenn Beck and a virtual host of other Fox news cronies that are all… drum roll again, please… right-wing conservative. But wait, they have their underground counterparts, too! What is the very foundation of the republican Party platform? Religious intolerance, homophobia, xenophobia, sexism and yes even Anti-Sematism are all enmeshed within it.
The liberal left has fought long and hard for equal rights for everyone… not just for those that look, talk, act, behave, worship and love the same. The liberal left celebrates diversity and therefore acknowledges the differences between us. Acknowledging those difference IS NOT the same thing as being prejudiced against someone based on them. That prejudice is, without any doubt whatsoever, the realm of the conservative. Conservatives have been guilty of that throughout history and they REMAIN guilty of that to this very day.

You would not find ZZ Top a occupy protest, ZZ Top has done concerts at Nascar events. I know because I have seen them and I am a Nascar fan, Nascar fans are very good people and we tend to be conservatives.
RE: that guy in the first video ranting about not needing a job because we can grow our own food, etc.: Why is it Lefties tell me that their paradise is living in a hut and picking food out of a graden, but they call themselves “progressives”? Instead, private citizens like us have to find time maybe a couple hours every week or two to venture out to just a few of the many Occupations out there. And with just that tiny amount fo coverage, so much is revealed. Why aren’t there 50 Urban Infidels in New York and 25 Ringos in LA?Why isn’t there a Suburban Infidel in, say, Boston or Chicago? I’m not surprised at all that Anti-Semites (and even Troofers) are showing up (if not the primary people at) the “Occupations”. The whole concept of “Occupy Wall Street” is right from Anti-semitic and Troofer screed. Some “bad person” (many times un-named and typically “a secret” to all but the person making the claim) is doing “something bad” (almost always undefined and unsupported), that is hurting others. Has anyone seen a “Occupier” (or typically an Occupooper) actually set up who committed a crime, what crime they committed, when, and what proof they have? Heck, where is their “grievance” which is one of the basis of being able to peacefully assemble to redress Government (note: NOT a private business)? In 6 weeks the “Occupiers” have not been able to “officially” state what they are protesting against and what they demand to be done.

The zombie outbreak may have begun at Occupy Vancouver! The CBC reports that officers have been bitten by protesters there (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2011/11/09/bc-occupy-vancouver-injunction.html – half-way down the page). History will reveal if this truly was the provenance of patient zero.
On a more mundane note, the uninfected (as yet) contingent of Occupy Vancouver is asserting First Nations’ sovereignty on the patch of land in front of the art gallery where they’re camping. The Canadian Occupy protests haven’t been that big a deal so far, but if they turn into another Caledonia, Ipperwash, or Oka (occupations related to First Nations’ land claim disputes) they could get nasty.

these people are strange indeed. Wherever they have been throughout history they always seem to create turmoil and conflict. They’ve been thrown out of many countries since ancient times. No other country ever really wanted them. It just got stuck with them. Three points:
1). I don’t really see much of an “anti-semitic conspiracy theory” with the first guy, apart from general envy of the “rich Jews”. Antisemitic, yes, but more formally than in reality. As Zombie says, much more frightening is his ignorance of very basic economics.
2). As for the second two protestors, the ironic thing is that the only two people there *not* declaring anti-semitic conspiracy theories are the Arab reporters.
3). That should be “Anti-Israel protestor”, not “Pro-Israel protestor” in the second section, shouldn’t it?

A closer comparison would be the jew haters in academia, like Mearsheimer and Walt, who are feted by the media and respectable sorts for “courageously” taking on the Israel lobby. Only later, after the media has gone away, the revelations of their bigotry become evident, as in Mearsheimer’s endorsement of a book by an outspoken jewhater and his blunt comments about Jews to an Arab group. They are the ones who resemble the 1930s,not the street loons.

Close, but no cigar. Often, Somebody does better than Somebody-Else by working hard. That sure helps. Sometimes, its due to luck (good or bad) and things beyond either Somebody’s or Somebody-Else’s control. Some Jews are Somebody-Elses, some gentiles are Somebodies. Chakam…I beg to differ. The typical Israeli fighter is not that brave in actual combat against an equal force. He does very well in tanks against Arab children armed with sticks and stones. He does well in kicking in the doors of unarmed Palestinians. Against a foe that could fight back like Hezbollah in 2006 he doesn’t do well at all. He does best when he outnumbers the opponent and is better armed.

There is no difference. So-called “anti-zionism” is the belief that the Jews, alone of all the people on the face of the planet, have no right to their own state, and that destroying the one Jewish state (and *only* the Jewish state) is an act of “liberation” and “justice” from a “fascist puppet state”.
It is, in short, simply a call for genocide and terorrism against Jews because they have all the money (*cough* run a “puppet deomcracy” that is “controlled by financial interests” *cough*). I don’t think people hate Jews so much. They just don’t like having to deal with them. My brother is in business for himself and he hates to have Jews call him. According to him..they always want a cut in price, they always want something extra done without cost, they are never satisfied, not ever. When they agree on a price they still try to get some knocked off after the job is complete. It’s the same for all of them …they all act this way. He sometime refuses to deal with them. He doesn’t hate them he just doesn’t want to deal with them.

I always find it interesting that the Catholic Church is accused of being too powerful (ever had the Swiss Guard knock on your door for breaking Canon Law?) and yet the Jews are accused of controlling everything (as seen by this blog). This is very interesting when you add in that the Mormons have the most collected wealth (They apparently take tithing very seriously).
