This is far more significant than the closure of a bridge. The Pentagon’s top brass knew, immediately, that the attack on the U.S. facility in Benghazi, Libya on 9-11-2012 was a terrorist attack, and not a demonstration gotten out of hand. Fox’s James Rosen has obtained transcripts of top secret testimony on the attack.

Minutes after the American consulate in Benghazi came under assault on Sept. 11, 2012, the nation’s top civilian and uniformed defense officials — headed for a previously scheduled Oval Office session with President Obama — were informed that the event was a “terrorist attack,” declassified documents show. The new evidence raises the question of why the top military men, one of whom was a member of the president’s Cabinet, allowed him and other senior Obama administration officials to press a false narrative of the Benghazi attacks for two weeks afterward.

Gen. Carter Ham, who at the time was head of AFRICOM, the Defense Department combatant command with jurisdiction over Libya, told the House in classified testimony last year that it was him who broke the news about the unfolding situation in Benghazi to then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The tense briefing — in which it was already known that U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens had been targeted and had gone missing — occurred just before the two senior officials departed the Pentagon for their session with the commander in chief.

According to declassified testimony obtained by Fox News, Ham — who was working out of his Pentagon office on the afternoon of Sept. 11 — said he learned about the assault on the consulate compound within 15 minutes of its commencement, at 9:42 p.m. Libya time, through a call he received from the AFRICOM Command Center.

Ham testified in the classified session that there was some peripheral chat about a demonstration, but that he and other commanders were always clear, from the beginning, that Benghazi was a terrorist attack. That’s the word they delivered to President Obama and his top advisers including then Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. Ham has been consistent both in sworn testimony and in his public comments.

So that was always the military’s take. It was as we all know not President Obama’s take. He was selling the attack as a demonstration in response to a movie for weeks after the fact. Then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sold the same line, and then hand-picked the Accountability Review Board to conduct a phony investigation into the attack.

"Who cares?"

Which is to say, who of consequence will ever do anything about it?

Even if the Republicans sweep both houses, it isn't as if the Prez will be brought four square to answer. Too much fallout. No, not even Cruz would be able to pin the tail on this donkey.

No. This country has decided the president is just 'off-limits.' No justice and it breaks my heart every time I think of it.

They knew. And lied.

But some might say..."Couldn't they have just been wrong?"

Susan Rice was sent on the Sunday Morning Parade of Lies.

Now...why? It is NOT because of an "image" containment of al Qaeda. It is deeper than that.

Why did Obama and Clinton hide? What is the connection to the Muslim Brotherhood. And Syria. And Iran.

Why did they arrest and jail an innocent man?

They knew. They lied. And more.

James Rosen was on O'Reilly tonight. In his usual big mouth fashion O'Reilly kept shutting Rosen up each time he got close to saying the name Clinton. I was pretty steamed over it all. O'Reilly kept telling Rosen to stick to the Big Three names - which didn't include Clinton. IMO Clinton is the BIG story here since she's going to be the next wrecking ball elected to 'dis-serve' this country.

I don't usually watch O'Reilly but I knew Rosen would be on - to bad 'Big Mouth' got in the way of what could have been a good report. Nothing unusual in that. I should have known!

Whatever led up to the event, the fact is that a US ambassador was abducted from an official US consulate and murdered. There's so much argument that people are forgetting how important it was that America make an example of the perpetrators of this atrocity. Ambassadors have been safe in foreign countries for hundreds of years. The culprits should have had seal teams running riot through their territory hours after the attack. The opportunity has now gone.

Was gun-running at the root of this tragic disaster? Selling arms to entities we are fighting in other areas of the world is treasonous. Oh what a tangled web these sorry people weave. And too much death in their wake too. Good men were sacrificed for what? It never took too much imagination to realize something wasn't right about all the excuses and cover-up. Obama and Clinton would lie when the truth is better. They both have extensive histories that show a propensity to hide behind BS. It's a shame that our government has these types of people at the TOP. Are these narcissistic, self-serving and self-aggrandizing people the best our Republic has to offer? If so...we're in deeper trouble than any of us can fathom. GOD help us. Please.

Hillary might as well have said: "I don't care," because she, her then, boss and her supporters clearly don't. It won't make a a bit of difference to the people who support and will vote for her as they have no conscience, morals or brains.

I have finally come around to Hillary's opinion: what difference does it make? We are lied to with impunity by the government. They have the main stream media on their side, pulling the wool over the eyes of half or more of the population. They can unleash wave after wave of white corpuscles to attack anyone else who seeks the truth or advances arguments that threaten their ambition. It is now only interesting as a case study in how totalitarian governments protect their power.

When one suspects another of lying, one has to be very objective and ask, "What does the person lying have to gain by doing so?"

I am in NO WAY defending these disgusting samples of walking flesh that administer their hatred and contempt for the very nation they work for, no.

However, I have found myself in positions of responsibility where this lying behavior occurs and though it's true that every human being does it, there are actually human-beings on this planet that are extremely averse to it and will agonize over the reality of it.

By the time a child is five, or even younger, they have learned what the consequences are of telling the truth. I had a father that, if he found out I had lied, dealt a heavier blow than if I had told the truth. That ethic stuck with me and imagine my dismay when I went out into the world and found that others had never had their feet held to the fire and --- got away with everything.

So here we are with an abundance of well-practiced and "achieved" liars in the government. Some might say that's nothing new but in this day and age, the lies told and the deception(s) pulled on the People Of The United States, with the happy permission of many in the masses, indicates a sickness that has infected our society.

Or is it that it's always been there since Roman times and before?

Integrity and character is how you act when no one's looking. Yet here we have slimy, pathetic weasels of government doing things that, if you or I did it, we'd find ourselves in a cell awaiting trial.

So who's gonna be the first to subject themselves to the barrage of media/Reid-hate/gangster-style grilling when they officially and publicly call out the president and Hitlery for lying...along with that little twit, Rice?

Who?

And there we reach the impasse and the source of our frustration. I have learned in my short life also that less than one one hundredth of one percent of the human population is willing to stand so faithfully on the side of right as to put their career in jeopardy.

The excuses I heard in the military, "I'm not gonna fall on MY sword just because he lied...he'll be gone soon enough and we won't have to deal with him anymore" (as told to me by a LtCol when I listed the number and frequency of busted regulations that were committed by another LtCol)

And in corporate America, "You gotta learn to fight your battles and ask yourself 'Is it worth your job to be right?'." (When bringing up management's intentional abuse of decent, hard-working employees they singled out for their own reasons to make examples of)

Herd animal (mammalian) behavior and 99.99% of the time, the human will elect their own survival and even let it get a lot worse before they draw attention to themselves.

Thus, there are no more heroes. And why? Because being a hero means going in, in spite of the danger to self and fighting on the side of right and ignoring all the flack and surrounding fire to get to the heart of the matter.

No one in government is going to do that. Not your most so-called "courageous" representative, as identified by the media, nor the one who really is.

The only person who would is someone who has nothing to lose.

These same cowards will also join with the mob, and heap abuse on anybody in order to avoid becoming victims themselves.

Humans are a pathetic species, I'm afraid, and few have any true standards or principles. Many may spout religious blather drilled into their low IQ brains by equally stupid parents and other authority figures, but only the smallest minority seem capable of thinking for themselves or doing anything remotely courageous.

It doesn't do any good pondering such things. You can't instil virtue. If it doesn't come naturally, but requires some alleged holy scripture or tradition to prompt it, it isn't real.

Sadly, just another milestone in the government's war on the American People. Time to fight back. Let's start with massive acts of civil disobedience and see where that goes.
