What could go wrong?

At a rally on Monday, Seattle’s newly-elected Socialist councilwoman, Socialist Kshama Sawant, accused Boeing of “economic terrorism” should the company decide not to build the new 777X in Puget Sound and urged the union members to “take over the factories.”

Her comments follow the members of the Machinists’ union in Puget Sound rejecting a Boeing offer that had been negotiated secretly with the company by IAM international officials out of the union’s headquarters near Washington, DC.

For years we’ve been told not to call progressives “socialists” because it’s WAY DIFFERENT OR SOMETHING but guess what Ms. Workers’ Revolution ran on to get elected?

And when Boeing rightfully moves all of its operations from WA to NC Obama/Holder will interfere, of course, at which point Boeing should relo everything out of country.

Do you think Americans are just going to take this neo socialism without reprisal indefinitely?

Hey, I wanted to thank Seattle for electing a genuwine Commie! Quite refreshing actually to see a honest-to-god Commie who isn’t afraid to say what they really mean. None of this “progressivism” this and “redistribution” that, but just good ol’ fashioned “kill the evil capitalists and take their stuff”.

Yep, let’s just steal that factory and “convert” it into making VCRs and lectric buses and rainbow generators and Unicorn horseshoes and other useful stuff not used for war, you know, because everyone knows that all factories are completely interchangeable.

Your new Commie's gonna be providing us with a LOT of entertainment for the next four years!

So thanks again Seattle for lightening things up a bit in the political world! (Oh. Word of advice. Don’t elect a MAJORITY of those like her to city council or you’re gonna be REEEEEEEEALLY sorry!)

Build 777X in Washington, have a bitter union workforce and a brain-dead city council.
Build 777X in South Carolina, have a happy vibrant work force and a local government that wants you to expand, expand, expand.
Some decisions are tough...

When the inmates take over the asylum, it's time to move.

I wonder what this fruitcake thinks the "workers" are going to do after they "take over the factories"?

It's not like the workers are going to build the aircraft by themselves. But I guess it feeds her need for socialist drama and excitement.

The new Boeing plant is in SOUTH Carolina. We'll gladly take the jobs WA machinists don't want.

Sounds like a hostile work environment to me, I move if I were Boeing.
