Sure, big guy.

Republicans and Democrats actually are “fighting inside the 40-yard lines” on key issues, President Obama said Tuesday, and anyone who doubts that needs to visit other countries to get a look at real political and ideological divides.

American partisans often accuse the other party of being “socialists” (a Republican charge against Democrats) or “fascists” (the reverse), and Mr. Obama mocked the former at a meeting of top CEOs hosted by the Wall Street Journal in Washington.

“People call me a socialist sometimes. But, no, you’ve got to meet real socialists. You’ll have a sense of what a socialist is,” Mr. Obama said.

To prove his point, Obama went on to tout his massive redistribution of wealth in the guise of health care reform.

So…what’s the difference between President Obama and an avowed socialist? If you follow these next two links you will see it is currently around four dollars and ninety cents an hour.

True to form, every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie.

You know what's worse? PJMedia contributors who think that fascism is the opposite of socialism.

I'm so sick of the intentional dumb-assery of the people who say that the political spectrum has communism at one end and nazis at the other. Nazis, fascists, communists, socialists, and Islamists are all at the same end of the spectrum. There's barely any space between each one.

The Constitution is WAAAAY at the other end of the spectrum. Go just a bit further, and you'll reach anarchy. That's the spectrum, Stephen. You go from "no government" to "total government".

Fascists are not the political opposite of socialists.

"It's cool, I'm totally not a socialist....just ask my dad, er, I mean my mentor (FMD)...I'm a card-carrying marxist-mooslim bruthahood revolutionary with a touch of new Black Panther racist thrown in just for kicks." Only in a dream world would we expect this man-child to actually tell us the truth...and that is profoundly sad and disturbing.

"The Socialist, under this definition, would be the man who, in general, distrusts the effects of individual initiative and individual enterprise ; who is easily convinced of the utility of an assumption, by the State, of functions which have hitherto been left to personal choices and personal aims ; and who, in fact, supports and advocates many and large schemes of this character. "

We must go back to earlier times for a proper definition. Even those on the Right are corrupted by the academy and the greatest trick which was to demonize communism as a means to make socialism appear palatable.

There is a commercial on TV with a teenage girl who uses the same technique to make her boyfriend acceptable to mom. When opposed the girl brings home something that appears much worse that Mom opposes then accepts the old boyfriend as not that bad.

Obama doesn't know what he is, and wouldn't be honest about it even if he did.

The old dictum applies; if his lips are moving, he's lying.....

He's definitely a MUTT - communist/marxist/socialist/mooslim/maoist mixed - breed radical revolutionary. He's a wannabe dictator and a bully who only attacks those weaker than himself, he enjoys intimidating organizations to get his way, and is a narcissist who cannot pass a mirror without looking at himself. IF all of that were not bad enough, he is also a pathological LIAR with no credibility in the industrialized world who hates America and what we've stood for the last 237 years....But, at least SOME of the ignorant, low-information crowd that voted him into office are beginning to wake up and realize the mistake they've made. Is it too late.......?

"Anti-individualistic, the Fascist conception of life stresses the importance of the State and accepts the individual only in so far as his interests coincide with those of the State, which stands for the conscience and the universal, will of man as a historic entity."

THE DOCTRINE OF FASCISM - BENITO MUSSOLINI (1932)

Does that sound more like Socialism, or more like a Tea Partier?

Really? After reading BOTH autobiographies, the surrounding cabal of radical leftists, small c communists and Maoists...the most radical in the history of the nation...and the dictatorial...anti-Constitutional rule, the antipathy toward religion, spying and having the IRS ASSAULT POLITICAL opponents....when and how, precisely did you stop being a radical-in-chief?

And how, based upon the totality of your actions...could we tell?

Well, the "antipathy toward religion" specifically doesn't include Islam...

Um, that's a quote from the source article, as evidenced by the block quote. I didn't say that.

The way to picture it may be an "X" axis between "totalitarian" at one end and "anarchy" at the opposite end.

At the "totalitarian" end, a "Y" axis is drawn. That's where you put the Bolsheviks, Nazis, and the Fascists. Rearrange those deck chairs whenever and wherever you want. Stalin needed to create distance between his brand of thuggery and Hitler's brand. The American Left still embraces that distance.

And that's where the battle is. To raise a population that realizes that the heirs to Madison are not on Marx's damn Right/Left Continuum. We transcend it.

As for the Anarchists. I suspect that when the conditions for anarchy are present, the environment becomes susceptible to the attraction of the Totalitarian standing by to take advantage of the situation.

Uh, by way of explanation - I worked left-to-right, because that's how we read.

I started with no government (0%) on the left and ended with total government on the right (100%). So, technically I'm a Constitutionalist, so I'm on the political left. Much farther left and I'd be an anarchist. But I'm not, because I like to see a policeman do his job well.

Far to the right, you see Barack Obama and almost half our country; hangin' out with the Theocratic Islamists of the Muslim Brotherhood.
