And with this move, CNN puts the perfect coda on its decision to run a Hillary Clinton infomercial ahead of the 2016 election.

CNN Films’ decision to hire senior director Courtney Sexton — whose previous films include Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” and “Jimmy Carter Man from Plains” — is further evidence that the production company’s forthcoming Hillary Clinton documentary will be liberal propaganda, the spokesman for the Republican National Committee told POLITICO on Monday.

“Any concerns the Clinton team had are all gone. This puts the ‘p’ in puff piece,” Sean Spicer, the RNC’s communications director wrote in an email. “What’s next, Michael Moore directing?”

To paraphrase Hillary, what difference would it make if they did hire Michael Moore? Sexton is Michael Moore with less displacement. Her credits almost nothing but far left crockumentaries.

Sexton’s other credits include activist films such as agribusiness documentary Food, Inc., the Abu Ghraib film Standard Operating Procedure, and Casino Jack and the United States of Money, which focused on lobbyist Jack Abramoff and his ties to the Bush White House. Before joining Participant, she worked on HBO’s Deadwood with the eventual director of An Inconvenient Truth.

That CNN hired her after the flap over its movie is perfect. Absolutely perfect. Either they’re totally tone deaf to the criticism, or they just don’t care and aren’t even trying anymore. Either way, the RNC’s vote to keep CNN out of the presidential debates has been entirely validated.

Speaking of AlGore and propaganda, his former network, Current TV, will roll out all across America tomorrow as Al Jazeera. Just as Jihad cannot be mentioned by prosecutors of Nidal Hassan.

All of this all fits quite nicely into the crazy quilt that is now America, a place that I not only don't recognize, but a vile place that will soon have have us side by side in the rice paddies.

I still can't quite figure out if keeping CNN out of the debates is a punishment for them or a reward. The RNC only refused to let CNN and NBC air the Republican primary race, not the presidential race, right?

Given that the number of Republican supporters who watch CNN must be about the same as the number of Democrats who are capable of reason - in other words, VERY few - I can't see why CNN would feel punished. They get to air something that would actually appeal to their voters and make some money and they don't have to take any kidding from their Leftist friends for actually airing Republicans speaking uncensored remarks.
