CBS News’s Cheryl Attkisson has been one of the few — only? — national reporters willing to look hard at Fast & Furious. Now I want you to look hard at her Twitter feed.

Attkisson

It seems certain that somebody hacked her.

Stephen Green began blogging at VodkaPundit.com in early 2002, and has served as PJMedia's Denver editor since 2008. He's one of the hosts on PJTV, and one-third of PJTV's Trifecta team with Scott Ott and Bill Whittle. Steve lives with his wife and sons in the hills and woods of Monument, Colorado, where he enjoys the occasional lovely adult beverage.

We used to have to wear our tinfoil hats for these things. Now, we don't seem crazy at all. It's always crazy to think certain things... until it's too late.

Most likely a government agency (DOJ?) hoping to find out what she knew, and from whom she was getting her information. My money's on Holder's boys.

but the government and half the news media (even krauthammer, bolton and ralph peters) are busy telling us that the snooping is no problem. oh, the NAS snooping is no problem, just the DoJ snooping.

so just turn everything over to the IRS.

where was obama during benghazi? or am i snooping?

But Big Brother only wants to take care of you, Sharyl. You should be grateful.

Why would anyone try to snoop on the computer of a CBS reporter? CBS is so busy carrying the administration's water that it's hard to imagine what anyone would hope to gain from being able to see what's on the computer of one of their hacks.

Why do you and others keep asking rhetorical questions? Cut the PC jargon, it's disgusting, alleged this, alleged that when it's plain as day what the truth of the matter is.

Better yet did the White House use the NSA to hack her computer?

All these useful idiots for Obama on the so-called Right rushing to insist NSA would never share metadata with the same people who brought you the IRS/DOJ scandals are going to look pretty freakin stupid within a matter of weeks.

The salvation here is that CBS handed the computers over to a private forensics analyst instead of government authorities. We might actually get the truth in a timely manner. As of now, "CBS News is taking steps to identify the responsible party and their method of access.”

I hope someone in Washington is messing their pants and wondering if they can get a better deal if they come forward now instead of waiting to be ferreted out.

Heck, they might even brag about it. Anyway, who is going to step up and tell these thugs NO about anything?

My question is does CBS care the DOJ was snooping for bits she wasn't allowed to air? Nah, it's all for the cause.

jlw "where was obama during benghazi? or am i snooping?"

Yes, you are snooping and it's illegal. It's only legal for Big Govt to snoop, it's illegal for the little people like you to snoop. They will find a law to keep you with the filmmaker who caused the Benghazi murders.

That's like asking if water is wet, is fire hot, is ice cold? Of course they hacked her computer. It's "how they roll" in this administration.
