It was nice of BuzzFeed to preserve this moment in YouTube’s amber. It’s one I know I’ll take out from time to time and look at every now and then. And smile.
I can’t let the video go without mentioning just how delusional Matthews shows himself to be here. He lives in the past — longing for Bobby Kennedy to somehow come back from the afterlife and prep Obama for his debates — and he thinks that the nation is having a hot political debate on the most one-side, least-watched news network on cable.
There is no debate going on on MSNBC. Hasn’t been for years, if there ever was.
I think Chrissy’s tingling leg turned into shooting pains. Gloating? Yeah, I guess I am, a little.
Chrissy just learned the tingle down his leg wasn’t leadership. Or a new era. Or whatever. It was a warm liquid with a strong ammonia smell.

Chris is also dumb. That famous 47% was being “written off” as Romney voters, period. They were not being written off as Americans, or indeed human beings. Chris mistakes political strategy for intent in governance…which is another reason nobody watches MSNBC except for hilarious clips like this.

I wonder how many in the press understand that if dear leader was the dictator they so desperately want, they would all have been sent to special government journalism training back in January 2009? Don’t take my word for it — pick a dictator and ask the journalists who were on duty at the time how it all worked out for them.
