Los Angeles’ Democratic Mayor Anthony Villaraigosa turned up in Tampa today to provide a counter-story to the Republican National Convention and its pro-free market message. The mayor’s city is regularly seen as one of the worst in which to do business, and Democrat-controlled California has been seen as one of the worst states to do business for the past decade.
Mayor Villaraigosa’s prescription to help California out of the mess that it’s in: More taxes. I captured this video on my cell phone during the mayor’s counter-conference this afternoon. Take a look.
This is the same mayor who the Daily News here in LA showed spent ~11% of his time in office doing city work. The rest was split between getting his fat mug into photos, cheating on his wife with local reporters, traveling on the taxpayer dime to exotic locales, and taking illegal gifts from local sporting venues.
As a side bonus, he’s even more inept verbally than Biden. Total stuttering moron.
If this is the best they could do to counterprogram the RNC, it’s a bit like a clown car taking on a tank.

96% black vote for Obama. The people who cry about racism the most, indulge in it the most in 2012. This is coming to all of America thanks to the wholesale transfer of people from the Third World.
