When liberals protest, they violate private property rights by “occupying” other people’s property.
They don’t respect themselves, other people, or the police.
When the left protests, robberies and rapes follow, and covering up those rapes and robberies follows that.
When the left protests, the trash does not get picked up.

Leftists are thieves. They don’t have to follow rules or respect other people because they think they are superior and justified in whatever they do because their enemies (us), stole from THEM first. It’s how they justify their crimes. This applies from the level of picking up trash, to stealing billions of taxpayer money for Solyndra. It’s all justified in their minds.
obama, reid, pelosi, warren are the people who give them the license to do whatver they want, in return for putting them in power. It’s no different than the skim that the small time mafioso pay to their bosses.

The customers probably purchased a beverage with their meal, which was provided by Coca Cola, the only beverage products available at Chick-Fil-A-Hole.
If they used a credit/debit card to purchase their meal, they more than likely used Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
If they drove there, there is a high probability they used a car produced by Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, or Toyota.
What do all these companies, besides Chick-Fil-A, have in common? They are all PRO-GAY. So if you want to support the anti-gay bigots, you’re better off staying at home doing absolutely nothing. But make sure you aren’t using a computer to share your opinions, as the father of computer science and artificial intelligence, Alan Turing, was gay.

The problem in this equation is that elected officials such as Emanuel in Chicagom, Menino in Boston, and Bloomberg and his councilwoman in New York seem to believe that they have the right to deny licences to businesses because they feel like it. If we like their products, we buy them because we are tolerant people. They are not supporting an “anti-gay” business. Some are supporting this business owners right to free speech, others are supporting this business because they are Christians, they are “Pro-God”, that is their religious freedom.

My wife and I both stopped at Chic-Fil-A in Los Angeles last night. The crowd wrapped around the building and everyone was happy and polite and cars driving by were honking and giving us high fives. It felt good to be around decent, patriotic Americans. It restored my confidence – which had been lagging – mainly due to the magnifying effect of the media and culture which makes it feel like we’re isolated and alone. We are not. We are many. We are the majority. We just have to make the effort to show it.
I wanted to shout out to that excecrable Jeremiah Wright – “Yes Pastor. You were right. America’s chickens are coming home to roost. Just not in the way your twisted thinking thought they would. Hooah!”

I’ve got a library book titled “This Changes Everything”, or “Occupy Wall Street and the 99% Movement.” It has several authors but it was edited by Sarah van Gelder. I read it to find out what “everything” the OWS’rs claim to have changed. According to Gelder, “By naming the issue (she refers to income inequality), the movement has changed the political discourse.”
How? In ten ways. “It names the source of the crisis. It provides a vision of the world we want. It sets a new standard for public debate. It presents a new narrative. It creates a big tent. It offers everyone a chance to create change. It is a movement, not a list of demands. It combines the local and the global. It offers an ethic and practice of deep democracy and community. We have reclaimed our power.”
This is sheer delusion. Income inequality didn’t cause the Great Recession in the USA, a government-sponsored housing bubble did. Income inequality didn’t bankrupt the Greek, Spanish or Italian governments, spendthrift politicians did. And, the Occupy Wall Street movement didn’t change much of anything, let alone change everything. The Tea Party insurgents in the Republican Party haven’t changed everything, but they changed a Senator the other day.

I’ve posted this before, so forgive my redundancy, but the sweet irony of right wing conservative activism committing an act of commerce on behalf of an unfairly unconstitutional targeting of a private enterprise compares to the OWS crowd’s demand for free porta-potties while they break laws and trash the public spaces we pay for couldn’t demonstrate more clearly the divide between traditional Americans and the hate America crowd on the left. I went to Chick twice yesterday, the second time I stood in line for over an hour with families who held their babies and talked of community and church, young people abounded with Christian and spirtual messages on their tank tops and tees, old people smiling and remembering an American past, cars honking and waving, the Chick Fillet franchise owner frantically pushing a cart of hamburger buns across the parking lot from the grocery store, young vibrant employees gamely holding upto the pressure with smiling faces and offering umbrellas to the customers in line as we got rained on; all in all it was the perfect protest.
Y’know, I really REALLY don’t like those nasty chicken sandwiches. Still, I went and got one yesterday. I guess I’m an activist now. Where do I go to not bathe and grow armpit hair?

I don’t think most the people lining up to eat at Chick Fill A did so because they agree with Cathys views on gay marriage. I think what got everybody up in arms was the mayors of Boston, Chicago and other cities threatening to use their power against companies whom have different views on a issue. It’s their threat of abuse of their power that is so disturbing. Suppose the owner of a company went on TV and said he supported an end to Ethonal subsidies and the mayor from a city in corn producing state like Iowa threatened to keep them from doing business in their city. I think there would be a similar reaction!
The point is …. People were showing up not necessarily to support Chick’s position but rather, to support freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Really… think about it. If it’s okay to say you support same-sex marriage, then why is it not okay to say you don’t support same-sex marriage because of your religious beliefs. Come on people … get real!

Nevertheless, it has to be said: Today’s Gay Rights (sic) demonstration at the Hollywood, CA Chik-fil-a was orderly, peaceful, and had high entertainment value, especially the guy with the apocalyptic sounding “Repent!” sign directed at ‘anti-Gays’.
Who really started the gay-related boycotts? The gay-hating religious right, actually. The first boycott was against Ford Motor Company in the 70s for doing no more than taking out a car ad in the Advocate, the national gay newspaper. The boycott leader was Jerry Falwell and his “Moral” Majority — nothing “moral” about hating gays.
The religious right has demanded boycotts against some 30 leading national and transnational companies, often for doing no more than giving equality of relationship rights to THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES. So for those who feel — rightly, I think — government has no business meddling in the licensing of the (gay-hating) Chick-Fil-A, the religious right has no business demanding boycotts against companies who treat their gay and straight employees with equal care and concern.
This does not get in the media. Just a stilted version of this nonsense about a fast food mogul who has a serious anti-gay hatred disorder. (Giving money to Pray Away the Gay fraudsters is not the mark of sanity.) Tell the whole story and it’s far uglier for the “religious” haters. BTW, I like my religion, which is Jewish.
