You know, “TIME” spelled backwards is “EMIT”, a verb which is an antonym of sorts to “listen” and “report”, which are the kinds of things journalists are supposed to do.
It’s can also rearrange to become mite which is pretty descriptive, although not so much as fussy little lap dog, but try as I might there is no way I can make that from four letters.
In the 60′s the joke about Time Magazinese was Backward run the sentences until reels the mind.
Today it might be something like Rampant runs the P.C. speech while vanishes the thought.
