South Carolina-based Palmetto State Armory has just the thing for customizing or building your AR-15 rifle: A lower receiver named (and labeled!) NOBETO-15.
If you’ll recall, Democratic presidential candidate Robert Crimthand Domnall-Blathmac Embroidery “Beto” O’Rourke has made waves the last few days, promising, “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15.” Totally coincidentally, his campaign is making money selling shirts emblazoned with Beta’s Oscar Wilde-worthy witticism.

Palmetto says that demand for their new lower has been “unprecedented” for the pre-order item, but that they’ll deliver within 8-9 weeks. That’s in plenty of time for your holiday shopping, for yourself or someone you love. The fire selector on the hard-coat anodized lower is humorously labeled, “Hell Yes (Safe), Hell No (Fire), Snake Bite (Full-Auto).” Of course, to get that Full Auto selection to work, you’re going to need a lot of money, and more than just a NOBETO lower.
There’s a limit to five per customer, but the company promises that “all net proceeds from the sale of this receiver will be donated to the nonprofit South Carolina Second Amendment Defense Fund.” Which is nice.
You can pre-order your own NOBETO-15 for $49.99 here, with delivery expected around mid-November.
