Are You in Compliance, Comrade?

I apologize for hitting you with an extra ad, but the banner you see above appeared right here on the VodkaPundit home page today, and for all I know is still up there in the top right corner of your browser tab.

The reason I draw your attention to it is that “proactive compliance” is the kind of phrase typical of a little bureaucrat with vast power lording it over his serfs, and has no business being a part of the vocabulary of a free people.
