Apple Ready to Kill iPad 2

Good riddance, really. It’s not that the iPad 2 is a bad tablet — at three years old, it’s still better than most of the bottom-feeing Android tablets out there. But it’s 32-bit and non-Retina Display, which cuts into Apple’s reputation as a company with premium offerings.

For the same reason, Apple needs to work on a price cut to the iPad mini with Retina Display so they can kill off the old iPad mini.
