Buh-Bye YouTube from iPhone

Good riddance: The dedicated YouTube app will be gone from iOS 6 when it drops this fall.

That thing is my only complaint about iOS that Apple hadn’t fixed in the nearly five years I’ve been a user of it. Click on a YouTube link and… get swept out of your browser and into the app. Want to email yourself a link to the video, or just bookmark it? Tough luck, pal — no can do.

If those days are over, I say it’s about time.
