It's a Whole New D-List

A little something from my little-read PR mail folder:

As a valued source of interesting entertianment news, I wanted to inform you about #ReGENERATION, an award-winning documentary film that explores the galvanizing forces behind the Occupy Movement and the state of social activism in our society. The film features the participation of Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, and Talib Kweli, Kalle Lasn (among many others) and is resonating very strongly with audiences across the country. Following one screening in Seattle, teachers cancelled classes to allow for a passionate town hall-style discussion that spontaneously erupted among the students.

It’s narrated by Ryan Gosling. And while I’ve enjoyed his solid performances in a wide-range of recent middlebrow movies, he’s now been moved to the D-Bag List.
