The Things That Pass for Knowledge I Can't Understand

By now you’ve all read the NYT hit piece on McCain, and the maybe-he-did-maybe-he-didn’t have an affair with a “female” (!) lobbyist back in 2000. Is it true? Oh, who knows. And who cares?

What I do know is, I prefer the old days, back when Jack & Bobby were nailing starlets by the dozen is the Rose Garden — and the press played Sergeant Schultz and pretended not to see.

UPDATE: “Starlets By the Dozen” would make an excellent name for a Disney movie.
