It's Alive!

San Jose’s Mercury-News calls Edwards the winner in South Carolina:

Native son John Edwards easily beat John Kerry and kept his campaign alive with a victory in South Carolina’s Democratic primary on Tuesday.

Edwards, who was banking on the first-in-the-South primary, had a strong showing among independents, Democrats and even Republicans, according to exit polls of voters conducted for The Associated Press by Edison Media Research/Mitofsky International.

His run isn’t over quite yet.
