After Action Report

Got to meet Alex Knapp over a few beers tonight. He claimed that my town was “on his way” to Denver, but in truth his little layover added at least two hours of driving time to his vacation. I hope a couple of beers and some conversation made it worth his while.

If you don’t know him, he’s half-owner of the impressive Heretical Ideas blog. He’s also a damn fine guy’s guy, and the legal profession will be better once he’s passed the bar. Any would-be lawyer who appreciates good Bond flicks, bad poetry, and scary ex-girlfriend stories has to be an improvement over most of the current crop of barristers.
