Put Your Money Down

Sometime over the weekend — or maybe Monday — I heard Newt Gingrich on one of the Fox shows. Tony Snow or something. Cavuto? Dunno. I always turn on the news while I’m getting ready to hop in the shower, and it’s difficult to tell one shower from the next. Lather, rinse, repeat, yawn.

Anyway, love him or hate him, there’s no denying Gingrich is one smart operator. Whatever show he was on, he predicted a 80-20 Senate vote in favor of use-of-force (the cowardly way to declare war) against Saddam Hussein.

This site predicted a 78-22 margin just under two weeks ago.

We’ll see.
