Winds of War?

The Other John Hawkins wrote the following in response to this post about last night’s air raid on western Iraq:

Given the worries about bio/chemical attacks against our troops, it’s always seemed prudent to me that we might insert some Special Operations types in to try and disable as many of Saddam’s toys as we could locate. Maybe those 100 planes dropped more than bombs in the western desert.

We won’t know until after any war — if ever. But it’s certainly intriguing. Especially since we know for a fact that US Special Forces units are just a hop, skip & a jump away in Jordan.
