In Praise/Fear Of Diazepam

Ha’aretz reports that Yasser Arafat is still in “high spirits” in his blockaded Ramallah HQ.

He’s living off pizza bones and pissing in the corner (yeah, right), but apparently Arafat can still get hold of plenty of Valium.

NOTE: There was a very depressing time about three years back (leukemia sucks) when I discovered the joy of a V&V cocktail — that’s vodka & valium. That lasted about a week before I got far, far away from those little pills. But if the entire IDF were breathing down my neck? I’d chew those fuckers down.
