A Day in the Life of Hunter Biden's Laptop: 'The Smartest [Liar] I've Ever Met'

As part of our ongoing series, "A Day in the Life of Hunter Biden's Laptop," based on the "Report on the Biden Laptop" produced by non-profit research outfit Marco Polo, there is something that nags at me. Let me explain.

Like most addicts, Hunter is a habitual liar, gas lighter, and deflector. Even as an ostensibly sober person now, he is still a prevaricator. You could hear it as he spoke with his relatively new friend Moby, née Richard Melville Hall, in a recent faux tell-all interview on the musician's podcast after Hunter was indicted on tax evasion charges. The two met in rehab.

The interview devolved into platitudes and Hunter's histrionic anti-GOP slogans. Not much new ground was covered but it did demonstrate how Moby and his sidekick were unquestioning supporters of the president's son.

In the interview — held in Hunter's art studio, which is believed to be adjacent to his Malibu home, though Politico reports it is in San Francisco — the 53-year-old Biden claimed that the House GOP was trying to "kill me."

“They are trying to, in their most illegitimate way, but rational way, they’re trying to destroy a presidency," said a deflecting Hunter. "And so it’s not about me," he told the musician. "And [in] their most base way, what they’re trying to do is they’re trying to kill me, knowing that it will be a pain greater than my father could be able to handle.”

The world of psychiatry or psychology probably would have a field day with the "look at me, I'm a victim" deflection of the real issues involved here. One real issue is Hunter's father's knowledge of and benefit from his son's business dealings, which Hunter took on after the heir, Beau, died and the spare, himself, had to get more money for the family.

Hunter is likable and engaging, as anyone who has met him can tell you. It's how he hides his barely-beneath-the-surface imposter complex and perhaps explains his reliance upon something external — like the approval of others, or drugs and alcohol to feel good.

Was Joe Biden, "The Big Guy," taken in by his son's lies? Joe Biden told a besotted Stephen Colbert three years ago that Hunter is "the smartest man I know in a pure, intellectual capacity."

Hunter Biden is in his 54th year of life on this planet. Do you think his dad doesn't know what a big, fat liar his drug-enslaved son is or was? Of course, he does.

In his book, "Beautiful Things," Hunter admitted to taking drugs when he was in rehab in Massachusetts. "One thing I did remarkably well during that time," he gloated, "was fool people about whether or not I was using." He admitted to buying clean urine samples from a dealer to pass his drug tests while he was there.

But something he wasn't bragging about was trafficking drugs. Marco Polo revealed iMessages showing Hunter skipped out of rehab to go to Rhode Island to buy drugs, which he supplied to someone else. Hunter complained to his dealer that the previous supply was terrible and he wanted his money back. He told the dealer that the man for whom he was buying the drugs was "not someone [that he] can keep waiting," the report shows. Was it a bluff? Who knows?

In messages found on his laptop, Hunter used his smarts and tricknology to ensnare those closest to him in his lies.

He did this to Hallie, Beau's widow, with whom he was having an affair, and for whom he left his wife and kids. He tried to convince her that his issues were her fault.

In one particular spicy tirade, which he recorded on his laptop while he was driving and smoking what looked like a crack pipe that he alternated with a blunt, Hunter, who was supposed to be in rehab, lashed out at Hallie, claiming she wasn't supportive of him or his attempt to attain sobriety.

He then sent a series of iMessages in which he blamed her for not being supportive of what he apparently considered to be a brilliant quote by New York Times columnist, Maureen Dowd. He wrote, "We don’t pretend that we are different from families all over America that have to face the loss of loved ones, or have to deal with the fallout of divorces."

He ranted, "Now I have to be fully engrossed in admitting how ive damaged my entire families lives. You think that should be my focus now and I should be reaching out ton hyou and nat and hunt and apologizing for being son horrible and damaging them and every around me [sic]." He claimed he was "16 days sober" and "no matter what I do, where I go, whom I see—it will never be good enough for you Hallie [sic]."

Hunter bristled at the idea that she would blame him for the problems in the family. Hallie, who was also a drug-taking party girl, wasn't in rehab. Hunter messaged her sarcastically, "youve [sic] done nothing wrong and I am the one you must always have to blame..[sic]." He looked to be quoting Hallie as he continued his verbal bloodletting: "Now I must be contrite and admit and 'own up to all the damage you've done that you've caused to all the children and the whole family...the shit you've done to everybody..[sic] they [sic] way youve [sic] ruined your children lives [sic] my life.'"

She appealed to him to see a therapist together. This was an overture he had rejected before. More on this in the next update.

After the therapist remark, Hunter shot back, "I cannot forgive you for saying that you don't [sic] what other bullshit business deals and other shit that you're going to get shit for having done HUNTER—THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MNE [sic] THAT HJAS TO DO WITH YOU BEING..." He picked up the thread in lower case text, writing, "Ive [sic] never done a dishonest business transaction in my life. Im [sic] the most ethical man you will ever know. You say 'shady business deals.'" He upbraided her for believing the news media about news stories about him, saying "you stupid f**king c***."

Imagine having to navigate that kind of behavior for years. And imagine a father who would keep sending him out to make money for the family.

Joe Biden says he defends democracy. What he's done is exactly the opposite. He backs efforts to censor conservatives and is now intensifying them in time for the 2024 election. And there the conservatives sit, defunded, debanked, deplatformed, censored, and demoralized. The depths of these mendacious efforts to deconstruct and destroy American society and Western civilization are nearly indescribable, but we at PJ Media tell you about them every single day.
