After he’d been kicked off Twitter for paraphrasing Ralph Waldo Emerson, actor James Woods said he would boycott the platform until it allowed free speech.
He said at the time:
“’If you try to kill the King, you better not miss.’ #HangThemAll.”
Emerson’s quote went like this:
“When you strike at a king, you must kill him.”
Twitter cut him off:
Of course Twitter doesn’t inform his followers. @RealJamesWoods has received the following email: pic.twitter.com/2nnnVBVktQ

Eventually, the mini-social platform restored his account after telling him to be a good boy, but Woods said, “naw, I’m good.”
Though Woods didn’t get his stated wish from last spring, he came back to Twitter anyway on Thursday after he saw Alexandria Ocasio Cortes’s exposition on how people can’t pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. The Left has taken off on this “made it on my own” mentality in order to take a meat cleaver to American individualism.
Woods noticed.
I’ve tried so hard this past year to live without the wealth of knowledge available on Twitter, but this kind of blazing insight can be found nowhere else, so… I’m back! #AOCStillAMoron pic.twitter.com/kB0oDXmArB

He intimated that he hasn’t missed the format much:

But people missed him and a welcome committee was dispatched to bestow a bouquet of flowers on him when he entered the arena:
Senator Ted Cruz joked:
Welcome back. Avenatti won Iowa. https://t.co/4U45I8sOmy

Radio host Larry Elder:
Welcome back, @RealJamesWoods! And he's in mid-season form.

Bill Clinton victim, Juanita Broaddrick:
And hopefully you will eventually be victorious in your quest to bring the #RapistClinton to justice. We will stand by you until he is behind bars (hopefully monitored by the same guards who watched over Jeffrey Epstein). https://t.co/SmgcJ1Mrhp

The warm reaction gave Woods a case of the cries:
I simply can’t express how honored I am by the kindness and warmth I have received by so many of my Twitter friends tonight. You are genuinely such fine people. Thank you. I am in tears.

But it’s James Woods, so he picked up where he left off. Democrat presidential candidates beware.
Elizabeth Warren:
Not enough room in the Warren TeePee for women of color? Not a surprise, considering what a liar and hypocrite she has been since, well, forever… https://t.co/c84h0HH2pZ

Bernie Sanders:
Poor Bernie. They aren’t going to let this poor old fool win no matter what he does. He sold his soul to Hillary for a crappy house on a lake in 2016, and the devil will take her due. They will never let you have it, Bernie. The fix is in.

Democrats in general:
The #Democrats have cheated elections for so long, they can’t even elect themselves… #IowaCaucusDisaster https://t.co/31CnbxwRfy

He even posted up Hillary Clinton:
You, of course, will never be impeached. One up side to being the most famous loser in American history. So there’s that… https://t.co/cSvLStDdpJ
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) February 7, 2020
Mitt Romney:
This is the guy who passes a silent stinker in the elevator and then proceeds to lecture everybody about intestinal management. You’ll never come back from this one, Mittens. Even your magic pants won’t save you. #MittTheRat https://t.co/Rh9ZSPkKfo

Judging by his twitterpations, it probably won’t be long before he’s yanked from the format again. Enjoy the ride while you can.
