UFC Star Whips Opponent in D.C. Fight; Shouts to Trump That He’ll ‘Whoop’ HIS Foes 'For Free!'

On Saturday night, UFC star Bryce Mitchell put a finishing move on his opponent that has only been used twice in a UFC “pro-motional” fight. Mitchell was named the victor, and then name-checked Washington, D.C.’s most famous MMA fan, President Donald Trump: “Donald Trump. I’m up here in D.C. If you need help whooping some politician, holler at me bro; I’ll do it for free!”

The president’s director of social media, Dan Scavino, caught it:

Afterward, Mitchell invited the president to dinner: “I had to say something to my boy, Donald Trump. He’s just down the street. If he wants to go get something to eat, it’s on me!”

UFC fighters are the quintessence of American individualism. They stand on their own two feet and face their opponent alone inside a cage with only their wiles, strength, preparation, and will to win on their side. And some of these fighters see Donald Trump in themselves: beating the odds, beating his opponents, and not giving a damn about what anyone says while delivering unrelenting pain.

With UFC 245 coming up this weekend in Las Vegas, challenger Colby Covington has promised to bring back a belt for – you guessed it – Donald Trump:
