Creepy Video Shows Democrats Worshipping Beto O'Rourke With 'YMCA'-Style Song

Beto-mania is rapidly approaching cult levels. Democrats are so desperate for a “blue wave” in Texas, they’re singing worship songs to their beloved Beto O’Rourke. While Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) still leads in the polls, Democrats have deluded themselves into thinking Beto O’Rourke can defeat the conservative senator.

“B-E-T-O, come join the party for B-E-T-O,” crazed Democrats sing as they shape their bodies to resemble the letters in O’Rourke’s chosen monicker, echoing the Village People’s hit “Y-M-C-A” song. “Everywhere that he goes, people see that he’s great, rising star of the Lone Star State!”

Another verse declares, “Time to stand up and choose, time to end the Cruz blues, time to share the good Beto news.”

The song begins calling out “Texas,” with the catchy music from “YMCA” playing in the background. “Texas, there’s a choice ’round the state. Texas, we can all celebrate, because Texas carries one candidate who’s the hands-down, clear-cut winner.”

“Texas, time to make a new choice,” the song continues. It encourages liberals to vote: “There’s a new day dawning.”

It certainly is a “new day.” A Democrat in a deep red state has run a national campaign, raising a record-breaking haul of money — arguably making it more difficult for other Democrats to raise money — and making himself extremely unpopular statewide.

Liberals are turning Beto O’Rourke into a “star,” a source of “good news,” and the harbinger of a “new day.” Beto-mania is more than odd, it’s concerning.

Caleb Hull shared a short excerpt of the video on Twitter.
