This weekend, days before President Donald Trump arrived at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla., porn star Stephanie Clifford — better known as “Stormy Daniels” — performed at a strip club across town, even inspiring a protest on Saturday.
Clifford performed less than five miles west of the “Winter White House” Mar-a-Lago, at the Ultra Gentlemen’s Club in West Palm Beach. The club also lies between Trump International Golf Club and Mar-a-Lago. The club announced her performance last month. The porn star is leading a “Make America Horny Again” tour to draw attention to her alleged affair with President Trump. That affair garnered even more headlines last week, as it featured prominently in the FBI raid on Trump lawyer Michael Cohen Monday.

A few hours after President Trump addressed the nation from the White House to announce the U.S. bombing of Syria Friday, Stormy Daniels writhed her oiled-up body, soliciting patrons at the strip club, the Palm Beach Post reported.
“They want to see what the big guy put his hands on,” Fabian Uribe, a limousine driver who drove a group to the club and stayed for the show, told the Post. “I’ll pay $35 just to see what she looks like. I guess the president didn’t want to come.”
An anonymous man from New York said he showed up to the club to “support the First Amendment.” Supporters alluded to Clifford’s fight to get out of a confidentiality agreement with Trump.
On Friday night, protesters stood outside the entrance, yelling, “Pervert!” to the men and women entering the bar for Stormy Daniels’ shows.
On Saturday, some Trump backers among Ultra regulars walked out before Clifford took the stage. “I just got bored,” John Forrest, a contractor from Palm Beach County, told the Post. “I don’t think she is doing the right thing. She is just exploiting Donald Trump.”
“I’m a Trumper. I just want to see what all the drama is about,” Amanda Nelson said. “It’s all hearsay anyway. You never know, he may walk through the door.”
When Trump arrives at Mar-a-Lago Monday afternoon, he will see two billboards representative of America’s polarization: one calling for his impeachment and the other thanking him.
Ultra Gentlemen’s Club raked in cash from the Stormy Daniels performances. VIP rooms on Saturday sold for $600 and $1,000 depending on size. Ultra general manager Stacy Saccal told the Palm Beach Post she had booked Daniels in January and expressed surprise that the affair had garnered headlines days before the porn star’s performance at her club.
“I cannot believe how it happened,” Saccal told the Post. “I am stunned it worked out the way it did. I was worried she wouldn’t be relevant at this point.”
About a dozen protesters, some wearing “Make America Great Again” hats, showed up on Saturday night. One attendee threw a glass bottle at them. Two motorcyclists cursed and flipped the bird to the protesters.
“It’s just tactless,” Dan, a Trump supporter waving an American flag, told the Post. “She’s just trying to get a few more miles out of this.”
Other Trump supporters flocked to the club to bask in the Stormy Daniels star power. Local man Ryan Farley, who held a Trump flag in one hand and a black sharpie in the other, said he wanted to get a signature from the porn star — on his flag.
“I told my wife I’ll either be home in one hour,” Farley said, laughing, “or five hours.”
Clifford’s attorney, Michael Avenatti, mocked the protest and Trump’s penchant for exaggeration.

Echoing the president’s declarations that his inauguration crowd was larger than Barack Obama’s crowd in 2009, Avenatti tweeted, “The WH just confirmed that this is the largest protest of its kind in American history. More people tuned-in across ALL PLATFORMS than ever before. Not even close!!!!!!”
