On Friday, Google launched one of its famous “doodles,” but this time it hit smart phones across America. Instead of the classic “doodle” — a fun picture or game on the www.google.com search bar — smart phone users got a surprise in the maps app: Ms. Pac-Man!
Here’s how to get started. When you open the app, it should look like this.
For a better view, flip it sideways.
To get started, tap the button on the right or the bottom bar, which gives you a preview of Ms. Pac-Man.

One of the best things about this Google Maps Ms. Pac-Man is that you can play it anywhere, and unlike Pokémon Go, it does not involve walking with your phone. The bad news is, every time you bring up Google Maps to navigate in the car, you’ll be tempted.
