The Six Most Embarrassing Corrine Brown TV Moments

Former Congresswoman Corrine Brown (D-Fla.) was convicted on 18 counts of fraud and tax evasion Thursday afternoon. Brown served in Congress from 1993 to 2017, and left in her wake a long list of hilarious mis-statements for conservatives to enjoy.

Brown was defeated in the 2016 primary race. She will be missed, for all the wrong reasons. The indictment came after an investigation into the charity One Door for Education Foundation Inc., which federal prosecutors say filled the coffers of Brown and her associates, instead of fulfilling its purported function of giving scholarships to poor students, Fox News reported.

Earlier this year, One Door President Carla Wiley pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud after it was determined she had deposited $800,000 into the foundation’s account over four years. During that time, federal prosecutors said the foundation gave one scholarship for $1,000, while Wiley transferred herself tens of thousands of dollars.

As this woman leaves the spotlight in disgrace, here are some of her most disgraceful moments.

1. “Shame on the Republicans!”

It seems fitting, given current events, to share this video.

2. Meltdown on drug testing.

“Excuse me? I can’t hear myself.”

3. “Don’t confuse me with any facts.”

But … “you’re not confused.”

4. “I don’t remember her name.”

That’s the point.

5. “The media is always some bullsh*t!”

How’s this for “fuming”?

6. “Go Gata!”

Last, but certainly not least, here is Corrine Brown’s tribute to the Florida Gators, where she coined the phrase “Go Gata!” It is still mockingly used in her honor to this day.
