A Washington state man found an intruder taking a shower in his house and shot him. But that’s not the whole story.
The man left his home to check on the property next door, which he also owns and uses as a place to run his internet business. When he arrived next door he saw a screen window punched out and the door kicked in. He entered the property to check the premises. I would have made another choice at this point, but alas.
He found an intruder, 31-year-old Nathaniel Joseph Rosa from Bothell, taking a shower.
Here’s where things get weird, according to CBS News’s reporting.
The homeowner headed back to his residence next door, retrieved a gun, returned next door, and shot the intruder multiple times, killing him. He was arrested by police for second degree murder.
According to the Seattle Times, Rosa “worked for the Northshore School District in Bothell, and was staying nearby with his mother.”
Sheriff’s Lt. Travis Adams says that the owner and Rosa “exchanged words” before the shooting.
“It sounds like he came over to the house where he has his Internet business and found the door kicked in,” Adams said. “When he went inside he found this fellow in the shower and they exchanged words.”
“He shot him through the shower curtain” several times, Adams said.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office initially tweeted out the arrest and got some pushback.

He followed up with a tweet cautioning folks against jumping to conclusions.
Lots of reactions to the arrest. There is more to the story that can not be released yet. You may reserve your judgement until facts are out

We don’t know very much about this story yet, but the initial reports don’t look good for the alleged shooter. This guy shouldn’t have gone inside once he saw the house was broken into and he certainly shouldn’t have come back and shot and killed the intruder.
We will see what information will be revealed as the story progresses.
