Paul Krugman Seems to Predict That Trump Will Stage an Inside Job Terrorist Attack

USA : Mayor de Blasio in conversation with Paul Krugman

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman had an interesting “thought” on Friday and he shared it on Twitter.

In his hallucinatory tweet, Krugman strongly implied that President-elect Trump might stage a terrorist attack against the United States at some point in order to gain some kind of legitimacy.

There are several problems with this tweet.

1.There was only a cloud of illegitimacy over Bush among left-wing sore losers who, just like today, were trying to undermine the winner by creating a cloud of illegitimacy over him.

2. They weren’t right, they were wrong. Bush won every recount including the final recount of Florida undervotes. There is no doubt in any sane mind that he won the 2000 election fair and square.

3. 9/11 didn’t “dispel” Bush’s illegitimacy because, as I said, only sad sack, far-left-wing ideologues thought he was illegitimate, and 9/11 didn’t change that. Bush’s approval numbers soared to 90 percent in the aftermath of the terrorist attack because he (rightly) came across as a strong, emphatic leader who actually loved the country and wanted to punish those who hurt it.

4. Trump is not a leftist so he doesn’t think like a leftist. He says he is going to be putting all of his time and energy into “making America great again” and keeping his promise to Americans that they’ll soon be winning so much they’re gonna “get tired of winning.” He won’t be engaging in any “Wag the Dog” or “Stray Voltage” strategies to gaslight the American people into supporting him like a leftist would.

Krugman is projecting. He is telling us how leftists think — how he himself thinks — but not how patriotic Americans like Donald Trump think.

Sometimes it’s a little scary to get a peek inside the depraved mind of a progressive.
