Carly Fiorina to Appear on 'The View' After the Hosts Trashed Her Looks

It appears that Carly Fiorina will have a chance to face off with the women on The View after they callously made fun of her looks. The GOP presidential candidate is scheduled to appear on the ABC daytime talk show on Friday.

Last week, following the Republican debate, the liberal hosts took turns trashing Fiorina’s face — something they had previously slammed Donald Trump for doing.

“You know what Carly said which really made me laugh? She kicked off her thing saying, ‘You know, people tell me that I didn’t smile enough during the last debate’,” said Michelle Collins, a co-host. “She looked demented. Her mouth did not downturn one time.”

“I wish it was a Halloween mask,” co-host Joy Behar cackled. “I’d love that.”

“Smiling Fiorina? Can you imagine? It’d give me nightmares,” Collins continued.

Fiorina hit back at the women on Fox News Sunday, telling host John Roberts that “conservative women from Sarah Palin to Michele Bachmann to Carly Fiorina are long used to this.”

It will not stop me. It will not scare me and maybe, the ladies of ‘The View,’ if I come back on again, let’s see if they have the guts to say that to my face.

On Monday’s The View, Whoopi Goldberg defended the comments of her co-hosts.

“So just so we’re all clear,” explained Goldberg, “you have to know the difference between when somebody is coming for you and when somebody is paying you a compliment and when somebody is saying, here’s my observation. If you can get that together, maybe you can be president.”

Goldberg added that if Fiorina “wants attention, now she’ll get some.”

Via The Hill:

Fiorina argued Monday that their remarks are personal insults aimed at discrediting the power of her political ideas.

“I think what this points out is that liberals — and unfortunately, this includes liberal women — don’t like the message, they attack the messenger,” she said.

“I don’t need an apology,” Fiorina added. “None of these liberal women scare me.”

Fiorina’s booking Monday follows her fierce condemnation of “The View” hosts the day before on “Fox News Sunday.”
