SCOTUSBlog is not the United States Supreme Court. It’s an independent blog, affiliated with Bloomberg Law, that covers the Supreme Court.
All of that is lost on many angry liberals on Twitter. Despite their progressiveness, many just could not distinguish between the blog that covers the court, and the court itself. Even though making that distinction is not difficult.
So SCOTUSBlog came in for much abuse after the Hobby Lobby decision came down today, despite the fact that SCOTUSBlog had nothing to do with that decision.
Whoever runs SCOTUSBlog’s Twitter feed had some fun with all the abuse.
