The media enjoys talking up how Tea Party candidates and competitive primaries often cause Republicans to run to the right. They never talk up how the natural order of Democrats causes them to run left — far to the left — in their own competitive primaries.
Take Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district. A local gay advocacy group asked candidate Kevin Strouse if he supported using taxpayer funds via Obamacare, Medicare etc to fund sex change operations.
Strouse answered yes. He does favor using taxpayer money to fund sex change operations.
“I support funding for sex reassignment procedures under Medicare, Medicaid and other healthcare plans,” Strouse said on the questionnaire, according to the Daily Caller.
Strouse’s opponent, Shaughnessy Naughton, now agrees: Yes, taxpayers should be on the hook for sex change operations.
These two are competing to take on the incumbent Republican in the May 20 primary. Whoever wins gets to defend wanting to use taxpayer money to pay for sex change operations.
Wait, no they won’t. Because the mainstream media will do everything they can to fail to bring it up, and the far left will attempt to intimidate others out of mentioning it. Because, tolerance, or whatever other excuse they can come up with.
