Texas Democrat Group Photoshops an Image of Greg Abbott Standing Up (Updated)

Wendy Davis and the Texas Democrats are attempting to attack Texas Attorney General and GOP governor nominee Greg Abbott. But thanks to this Photoshop, whatever attack they wanted to launch is likely to blow up in their faces.

Or, it would if the Texas media bothers to report on it accurately.

The photoshopped image appears on this Progress Texas website.

The problem: Abbott has been confined to a wheelchair since an accident in 1984. Progress Texas depicts him standing up in the image above.

This isn’t the first time Davis’ allies have misfired over Abbott’s injury. Last October, Battleground Texas sent out a mass email that began saying “Greg Abbott walks into a house in El Paso.”

In January 2014, Battleground Texas activists were caught on tape mocking Abbott for his injury.
