VIDEO -- 'Russia Today' Anchor Protests Invasion, Quits on the Air

Liz Wahl worked in Russia Today’s Washington, D.C., bureau, until today. She’s the grandchild of Hungarian refugees who fled the Soviet jackboot. Today she quit Russia Today on the air, because she said she could no longer work for a network that “whitewashes” Russia’s actions.

Wahl quit Russia Today one day after fellow DC anchor Abby Martin protested Russia’s Crimea invasion, and the network responded by saying it was sending Martin to Crimea.

On Twitter Tuesday night, Wahl publicly sided with Martin.
