'Five Pillars of Islam' Taken Down

Minneha Core Knowledge Magnet Elementary School in Wichita, Kansas, removed its “Five Pillars of Islam” display, which had come under fire from parents and conservative blogs, on Monday.

Still no word on what the original purpose of the display was, but the Kansas chapter of the ACLU’s Legal Director Doug Bonney tells me he never had a formal complaint to investigate, and since the display is down, he “probably won’t bother.”

I’m still waiting on word from the school.
