White House Jams Obama Into British Royal Birth Story, Screws Up

So the geniuses at the White House decided that it was a good idea to insert President Obama into the buzz about the British royal baby birth today. So they tweeted.

An official statement of congratulations on White House stationery would have been more dignified. This is the birth of England’s 43rd monarch, after all.

The royal baby turned out to be a boy. The baby in the photo is wearing a pink onesie with little pink flowers on her diaper, and is therefore a girl.
