More than one in four Americans say this campaign season has soured a relationship with a friend or family member, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll out yesterday.
Twenty-seven percent confirmed that tomorrow’s election has negatively affected a personal relationship in their lives.
Forty-five percent say they have gotten into a heated argument with a friend or family member about the election, while 52 percent say they haven’t.
Men were more likely to get in a heated election argument with some close: 53 percent compared to 39 percent women.
This morning daily tracking poll shows Mitt Romney with 49 percent support and President Obama with 48 percent.
“It’s somewhat surprising that heading into the final weekend of the election season, we are unable to confidently project who is likely to win the White House,” Scott Rasmussen wrote Friday.
