Hillary Clinton: Rich People Don't Contribute to Growth in Their Countries

“You didn’t build that!” goes international. Hillary Clinton slammed wealthy people at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting on Monday.

SECRETARY OF STATE HILLARY CLINTON: One of the issues I have been preaching about around the world is collecting taxes in an equitable manner, especially from the elites in every country. It is a fact that around the world the elites of every country are making money. There are rich people everywhere, and yet they do not contribute to the growth of their own countries.

They don’t contribute by, say, investing in companies that create new products and jobs? They don’t contribute by, say, paying taxes on their earnings and then paying taxes on them again when they die? They don’t contribute if they’re not quiet little slaves of the state? Is that what the American secretary of state is saying?

It’s a fact around the world that Hillary Clinton has always been far more radical than she lets on. She looks less radical in the current administration, only because Barack Obama, Susan Rice and Valerie Jarrett and others in the group look more obviously radical than she does. But she’s every inch the socialist that they are. She’s just better at hiding it.
