Videos: When Barack Obama Promised to Create 7 Million New Jobs

BuzzFeed’s Andrew Kaczynski digs up another repeated campaign promise that President Obama has not fulfilled — massive job creation.

The funniest/saddest/most foreshadowing of the seven clips is this one, in which Obama promotes “investment” in wind, solar and biofuels, from which we would reap 5 million new green jobs.

The “investment” turned out to be loan guarantees to people with connections to Obama and the Democrats, and they have done about as well as one might expect given the lead investor had no history of successfully investing, and no experience in the private sector. One of those “investments” is now an expensive and empty, for-sale husk on the side of a California highway.
