George Soros, Apocalyptic Prophet of 2012

The Blaze highlights a recent interview with the billionaire financier George Soros:

“At times like these, survival is the most important thing,” Soros said.

As he sees it, the world faces one of the most dangerous periods of modern history—a period of “evil,” writes the Beasts’ John Arlidge. “Europe is confronting a descent into chaos and conflict. In America [Soros] predicts riots in the streets that will lead to a brutal clampdown that will dramatically curtail civil liberties [emphases added]. The global economic system could even collapse altogether.”

“Survival is the most important thing” is just another way of saying, “Anything is justifiable, I can do whatever I want.”

And also understand that when a man worth billions of dollars who has spent decades creating America’s most formidable political machine (tens of thousands of people employed on his behalf throughout the media, community organizing, union, and activist networks) “predicts” something, it’s really more like he’s telling you what he is going to do.
