Correction of the Week

At the tail end of a NYT piece on Newt Gingrich threatening to skip debates if the audience isn’t allowed to react or cheer, comes this correction:

An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated whom Newt Gingrich is said to have asked for an “open marriage.” It was an ex-wife, not his current wife.

Wow. Just…wow.

And the article doesn’t mention Gingrich’s flat and very public denial at all.
