Video: Rick Santelli Schools Little Ezra Klein on Money, the Recession and Life In General

Try watching this clip without laughing out loud at the inane things JournoList founder Ezra Klein says, and Rick Santelli’s response to them.
“Moving money around in ways that are unfair,” Ezra? Really? That’s what you’re going with? The left’s focus on “fairness” led directly to the housing collapse, and its focus on “fairness” now is creating an extremely hostile economic climate.

Rick Santelli is the man whose brilliant rant, in February 2009, more or less led to the creation of the Tea Party. Klein evidently doesn’t know that, or much of anything else. Santelli makes a game attempt at putting Klein some knowledge, but “fairness” trumps common sense if you’re Ezra Klein.

I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that Ezra Klein, smart and serious liberal, has a little trouble sorting out what’s happened over the past couple of years. He thinks the US Constitution is “confusing” because “it was written more than 100 years ago.”

How can someone be so clueless and enjoy such a lofty perch in the MSM? Well, I guess that question sort of answers itself, doesn’t it.
